here’s what our families say…
"We've been blessed to have been part of the Happy Days family for 5 years now. When we needed to look for wrap around care for our son, they came highly recommended from other parents and we haven't been disappointed. I've always appreciated the teams open door attitude to absolutely everything to ensure they maintain an inclusive and caring atmosphere for the children to thrive in, and reassure us as parents that their children are cared for as though they're their own. Oliver loves his time there and gets to play with children of all ages, to blow off some steam from a long school day. He has the freedom to engage with whatever activity takes his fancy, or start a new one if he feels inclined...which normally incorporates the younger ones using him as a human climbing frame! (As an only child, he absolutely loves playing the surrogate big bro!) Holiday club has also been an absolute godsend - Helen and the team provide a seamless transition between the teams and Hermitage and Jubilee, and always put together an exciting and diverse calendar of activities to keep all of the children engaged. The Lego man remains pretty legendary in our house! We highly recommend anyone to send their children here - it really is a no brainer!"

"As a parent and an Early Years Teacher I can't speak highly enough of Happy Days Nursery School, Jubilee Walk. My two children have both been fortunate enough to start on their educational journey with Happy Days, experiencing both the Twinkles and Stars and Sunbeams classes. Happy Days has it all, experienced, caring staff, a broad and exciting curriculum, a positive and stimulating learning environment, excellent communication with parents, effective assessment systems and so much more! For us, it has felt like being part of a family, not just an educational setting. We are eternally grateful to everyone who works tirelessly to make the 'magic' happen there"

"Happy Days is an extension of our family. Both the children and us adults are always greeted with a warm welcome whether it be at nursery, before/ after school or holiday club. The staff maintain the highest levels of professionalism, whilst being fun, showing interest in each individual child, providing comfort, friendship, love and affection. The children feel safe and there is a sense of belonging to the group. Staff treat the children as we try to do so ourselves installing morals and are never scared to share a cuddle where it is required, and we are not around to do so. HD has been a heavy presence in our lives over the past 7 years, with all 4 of our children now attending and will hopefully continue to play a part for a long time to come."

"We have entrusted Happy Days for nursery, pre-school, after school and holiday club for a few years now following a recommendation by another Holmes Chapel parent who was impressed by their approach. Once both daughters were at school and flexible working was in place, there was no need to send them there, but they insisted, so continued to attend both after school club and holiday club. In September 2020, like most, we considered our options really carefully. We were so impressed with the way Happy Days coordinated with the Holmes Chapel schools and communicated with the parents that we had no hesitation in agreeing to our girls' request to return to Happy Days after school club. The children are in a fun, educational and nurturing environment, the team there is consistent (which we think speaks volumes!) and we would have no hesitation in recommending Happy Days to other parents in and around Holmes Chapel."

"My 3 year old daughter moved to Happy Days from a different preschool this September. Bearing in mind there were still lots of restrictions due to the current pandemic they still went above and beyond in welcoming us and getting my daughter settled in. From an open play hour to settling sessions the whole experience was flawless and my daughter settled immediately. She adores going to happy days and often cries when it’s not her day to go. They work extremely hard to make the children happy, adventurous, physically active, creative, and safe while educating them too. My daughter adores the staff and talks about them fondly. It really does feel like a big happy family. The updates on the learning book are amazing at helping you feel connected to the life there when you’re not with them and the weekly newsletters keep you so informed on what they are up to you really to feel a part of their journey. My daughter is so happy and confident due to their hard work and loving nature she happily tells us all about what she’s been up to and plays happy days with her teddies. All communications from registering through to updates or questions are met with a friendly and timely response and the admin staff are more than helpful. There really isn’t a bad thing I could say except I wish we’d started sooner."

We have been using Happy Days Jubilee Walk for over 6 year now and my three children love going there. Whether it has been the nursery, before / after school club or Holiday club they always have lots of fun, learning experiences and social development both with staff & friends. Knowing my children are happy, safe, and loved reassures me whilst I am at work. The staff are what makes Happy Days a key part of our community. They welcome us in with beaming smiles each morning and are still so energetic in the evening when we collect. They feel like an extended part of our family and my three children love each and every one of them. Their support, understanding and help when sometimes my life is a little hectic is invaluable. Even through COVID-19, their dedication and commitment to open and the processes they have had to put in place to make it work are relentless, and you know it is done with such care. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Happy Days. You are part of our family xx

My daughter attended Happy Days Before School Club during Year 3 of Primary School and absolutely loved her mornings there. The club is very popular with parents at Holmes Chapel Primary School and it was always good to see lots of familiar child and parent faces at drop off times.
The facilities are superb…lots of indoor activities to keep children in each of the age group rooms entertained and a fantastic, secure, outdoor play space for the children to explore (I know this is very popular with the children).
The before school club is run brilliantly – a very secure entrance to the building, children are met by one of the team on arrival and then they have time for breakfast and a play before school. The building is at the end of the school playground so it’s really convenient. Children are walked over to their class line in the playground (pre-Covid days!) and the Happy Days team stay until the children are collected by their form teachers.
My daughter also attended a few of the holiday club days and really enjoyed these too. Activities which changed each day were carefully planned around the ages of the children and there were also days out trips planned which were a fantastic idea.
Communication with parents is brilliant. Newsletters are sent home and Happy Days have been great keeping parents up to date with Covid planning as well as all other news and information.
The Happy Days team are lovely. Really friendly, kind and caring. All the children seem very happy, settled and at home. I’d absolutely recommend the before school club to any parent needing to drop off before school starts.
